In an attempt to clear up the confusion about Amex-issued versus Amex-processed cards, I want to compile a list current Amex offerings so people will know whether the card they are investigating is indeed issued by Amex and enjoys Amex benefits. I think that one is a store card that simply authorizes against the Amex transactional network; this list if I read it right is cards which Amex offers directly.

Likewise this is a BOFA (FIA) issued card which authorizes against the Amex network.
