I had a care credit credit card that I opened in 2013. I disputed the balance a few months ago for unauthorized charges after that they sent me some forms to prove my reason for the dispute but I never sent them any documents or proof. I never even spoke to a representative. I just checked all 3 credit reports and the entire line of credit is removed. I don't want to get too excited too fast. I'm confused because the balance was almost $4000.00 and now it's just gone. I never had a situation like this before so I don't know what to think. Have anything like this happened to anyone else?
Sounds to me like their system hit your account for someone elses charges. Similar account # maybe? Anyway, sounds like they figured it out.
Dont call and question it! I say just take it!
