Confusion with Amex Blue

I'm looking on the website and I don't see the version I got approved for which includes:

15 months 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers (within 30 days)

100$ cash back when spending 1,000 within 3 months (am I eligible with this after getting a Costco True Earnings earlier this year?)

No annual fee

3% groceries 2% gasoline 2% select department stores

Also do they all come with Amazon Prime for a year or just certain versions?

Also will Amex link this to my online account automatically?

1. WFCU Visa (2,000) 2. Chase Freedom (1,500) 3. Chase Amazon (300) 4. Chase Sapphire non-preferred (5,000) 5. Discover IT (3,500) 6. Capital One Quicksilver (3,000) 7. Citibank Dividend (4,300) 8. AMEX Costco True Earnings (5,000) 9. Barclaycard Arrival w/ AF (3,000) 10. Target REDcard (2,700) 11. Amex Blue Cash Everyday (10,000)

Re: Confusion with Amex Blue Cash

I was concerned about some of these things too. Just call them or do online chat they will tell you. I found calling was less time consuming. I just asked them to confirm each item. I did find for myself I did not have the amazon offer, but I was not really expecting it since I did not recall seeing it on my offer.

I am not sure you can see online when you login the offer you signed up under unless I have simply overlooked it.

Re: Confusion with Amex Blue Cash

I think I figured out part of it. When I go to the website on my phone the mobile version offers different (better) terms than on my computer.

I was really looking for 0% apr for the longest amount of time. 100$ cash back would be good too. And No annual fee is highly desired.

I called the automated and got a 10,000 limit! Yipee

Re: Confusion with Amex Blue Cash

I believe it depends on what it says when you signed up as far as the Amazon Prime goes. I got the one that gives me $50 Amazon credit and a free Prime account (with $1000 spent in 90 days) but if I had signed up with the application that came in the mail I would have gotten $250 cash back (with $1000 spent in 90 days). Yes, I know I was stupid for not paying attention.Smiley Sad

Re: Confusion with Amex Blue Cash

And to avoid others getting confused, make sure you use the right card name.  Sounds like yours is the Blue Cash Everyday,   Blue Cash is a very different card.

This is going to get worse when the Everday and Everyday Preferred launch April 2!

I guess someone in Amex Marketing thought it was a good idea to group the cards into a Blue "family".  So currently, there are at least:

Blue Cash Everyday (3/2/1 on supermarkets, gas/department stores, other)

Blue Cash Preferred (6/3/1 on supermarkets, gas/department stores, other)

Blue Cash (5/5/5 on supermarkets, gas and drug stores after $6,500 annual spend)

Blue.   Earns MRE points generally 1 point per $

Blue Sky: Earns points for travel, really cash back for travel, like Venture and Arrival

Blue Sky Preferred.  AF version of the above with better earning rate

And on April 2nd, they will add (we think!)

Everyday (2 MR on supermarkets, 1MR other, with 20% bonus for 20 transactions per month)

Everyday Preferred (3 MR on supermarkets, 2 on gas, 1MR other, with 50% bonus for 30 transactions a month)

Those last 2 aren't marked as "Blue" but are still confusing, as "Everyday" and "Preferred" are mutually exclusive in the Blue Cash case!
