Consolidating Two Credit Cards (Same Bank)

Hi,
I have two credit cards from the same bank (low limits 700 and 800).  I have the option of consolidating into one card, adding the two limits together.  I can choose the card with the lower interest rate although I've had it a shorter amount of time.  Will this affect my credit score?  If so, how?

Thanks!

Depends if they are going to merge the histories, too. It might help if you let us know who the accounts are with. Generally speaking when they merge cards they merge the CL's, give you the lower APR and merge the histories. You might want to ask them before you act,
