Applied for the HSBC Best Buy Card online after completing the pre-approval application. It said it needed further processing but didn't give me a number for contacting the application department. I am sure this is due to my fraud alerts and they need further verification. Anyone have the contact number?
I received the same message when I applied. I didn't call anyone, but checked my app status a few days later and it said I was approved for 5k

No, I don't have any fraud alerts. I think it's just a standard message though. Try these if you want to call, i pulled them from hsbc mc site:
