As of April 1, 2016, Costco will offer a Citi/Visa co-brand credit card exclusively for Costco members in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The new co-brand credit card will have improved rewards and no annual fee for paid Costco members. Beginning April 1, 2016, Costco also will accept all Visa credit cards, including the Citi/Visa co-brand credit card, for payment at Costco warehouses, Costco Gas Stations and Costco.com.
Costco will continue to accept all American Express cards, including the American Express co-brand card, at U.S. and Puerto Rico warehouses, gas stations and Costco.com through March 31, 2016. Additionally, Costco members will continue to earn cash rebates from American Express through March 2016. All other terms and conditions related to the American Express co-brand card remain in effect.
The partnerships with Citi and Visa allow Costco to bring greater value to our members and to reduce our payment costs, which help keep prices low. We will provide more details about the Citi/Visa co-brand credit card in the coming months.
As always, we appreciate your loyalty to Costco and look forward to continuing to serve you.
