The material and build quality of a Credit Card is of importance to some of us.

And you can discuss that in infinitum in the smorgasboard forum. Smiley Wink

Not to get into an argument here, but just to raise a point....

If there is an exsting thread about a credit card, why would we need to create separate threads to discuss that credit card....

But if we create separate threads, we'll often get in trouble, and then have them all moved and merged into one thread, even if they are discussing SEPARATE things.

I understand the need for rules, but they have gotten a tad out of hand. It's not like people are talking about the simmons first visa in the sapphire reserve thread. There shouldn't be a need to create a new thread to discuss qualities of a card on which there is already a thread. All this rule is asking for is more spam...either that, or to get the thread count up on the board, because having to go from thread to thread generates more pageviews, and more $$ for the garbage ads at the top of every page, where myfico advertises credit cards from predatory lenders.

In actuality, this entire thread is about the APPLICATION for the chase sapphire reserve, so shouldn't it be in the applications board? Since MF felt the need to create a board for everything.

Discussion about the asthetics of a card is to be done in the Smorgasboard forum and there is as Kenny has said a thread running there on this particular card. It is not up for discussion its the rule of the forum as long as I have known. Here is the thread on the this cards asthetics   http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/SmorgasBoard/Sapphire-Reserve-is-solid-metal/td-p/4722598

As far as whether or not this belongs in the application forum it can actually fit in to either forum.
