Not if there's a spending problem.

 

If he/she ends up with another low limit card it's a wasted inquiry. Also, some of the better companies aren't going to look kindly upon an unpaid medicall, even if it's only $35.

The medical collection was paid a short time after she found out about it. Also her tenants lost their jobs and that created a messy rent situation which led to using credit cards to cover some expenses. There is only 1 store card that was used for spending during the Christmas (which she gave her card to her kid)
