Re: Credit Card Inactivity!

If you actually care about keeping the cards then throw something on there periodically. If you dont care then let them die gracefully. Or product change them to something useful.

Re: Credit Card Inactivity!

Has anyone had experience with Care Credit inactivity? With this card/account only being used for medical stuff, I assume they allow it to go quite a while before closure? I have not put anything in this account in over a year.

Re: Credit Card Inactivity!

I make a point to use ALL my cards at least once every 6 months to avoid cancellation.

Re: Credit Card Inactivity!

I've never had one closed on me, but I keep them active with small monthly bills like Netflix or the gym. That way, they can stay in the sock drawer and still be active and not forgotten. I started doing that after I realized I never use my longest open credit card and was afraid they'd close it on me.
