UGH!
Ever since more than doubling my number of credit cards and now having rewards card, every purchase takes me anywhere from 30 seconds to long minutes wondering which card is going to give me the most bang for my buck. Earlier today I bought a new road bike and sat in my car for 5 minutes determining if I was going to PIF or whether I was going to pay it off over time and then once I decided to do that, which 0% APR card I would use. Right now, I'm booking a quick flight to Chicago. I'm like, do I book with my new Marriott Rewards for the 2x points and the spend towards my bonus or do I book with CSP for 3x. AND THEN, when I realized my cheapest flight option was American, do I book with my US Airways card for Dividend Miles?!
I know, #firstworldproblems but not problems I had two months ago. Haha!
It's easy for me most of my spend goes to the Amex prg while the ocassional 5% gas period goes to my discover it or freedom
LOL! You can use wallaby app to decide which card to use when.

since you can transfer points from csp to marriott, my marriott card would never see daylight unless i stay at there property

I'll have to look into that. Thanks!

It might not once I meet their bonus spend unless they have bonus categories. Like renting a car, I got 5000 bonus points.

+1, I love that app haha.

I tape a scrap of paper with the relevant bonus category/promo scrawled on it to the front of my cards for the low tech way to make that checkout line decision. I aso have the current go to card in the easily accessible part of my wallet.
That's smart. Most of my money goes toward restaurants (I rarely cook) and travel so my CSP is my go-to swipe. When it's not those categories or gas, I'm lost. lol
