How much difference would in make in my fico score to settle for less than the amount owed on my credit care opposed to paying them in full.

Who is reporting the TL (tradeline) on your credit report(s)? What does it say? Past due, charge-off, collection agency? Also, you might want to read this thread if you haven't already.
