Credit Card Usage Volume and Fico Score

Hello,

Does how does the amount of credit used and paid on credit cards affect the Fico score at all?  Let's assume the accounts have a zero balance when the report is pulled.

My Capital One card has zero balanace transfer fees.  Would it be advantageous to transfer the balance every month from my primary card to the capital one, then pay the capital one in full.

FICO scores revolving utilization based on the following factors:   1) the percent of revolving credit used on each card   2) the total percent of revolving credit used and   3) the percent of revolving cards with balances.

Hi, Cirrus and welcome to the forums.

Pizzadude is correct. It's strictly a matter of the utilization percentages of reported balances. It makes not a whit of difference how much you actually push through the cards in a month, only the balances that are reported (usually, this is your statement balance).
