Does anyone know of an unsecured credit card I can apply for with the following FICO scores:
FICO TU : 677
FICO EQ: 629
I'm in Sales, and the company does not issue company cards to entertain clients. I only have a secured account with Bank of American with a credit limit of $500. The $500 limit is not enough for me to use for travel and client entertainment expenses.
I feel like the only option I have is to make wait until my FICO score improves to apply for a card, but that could take 2 years.
Any feedback or experience is much appreciated.
Capital One for starters
HSBC , you can see if you qualify without hard inquiry
I have to say the Best Buy Rewardzone Mastercard. I got that card with a $4000 limit back in October with a lower score than you. This is also an HSBC card. There is a preapproval link around in these forums somewhere. Shouldn't be hard to find.
Thanks all. I'll apply and keep you posted!
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
I just got approved after I applied for the Best Buy Rewards Mastercard.
They said they will mail me my card and the details of my card in 7-14 business days. Hopefully I will have a high enough credit limit for me to charge my work related travel expenses/client entertainment.
Thanks everyone!
Have you gone to the HSBC site to see if they have the credit limit already? Mine showed up like an hour later.
Yup! I just checked and its $500. It's better than nothing. . At least I'll have 2 credit cards on my credit history now.
Thanks for all your help.
You might look here, you can filter by FICO score. Don't know if other myficos have had experiences with this list.

You might consider a credit union. Among other things, you can probably talk to someone directly about what they offer that would work for you.
If you're thinking about a secured card, USAA offers one that you can back up to $1500. Also, you might even qualify for a card with them.
Thanks Jack for the link to see credit cards by credit score. Also, I don't think I can qualify for USAA as none of my relatives have served in the US military.
