Credit Gardening...I'm done till Spring

Last month I decided to go for CLI’s on everything, and I finished today. It was a great crop!

Automated Call in Approved: Discover +$2,000; Amex TE +$3,000

Luv Button Denied: PayPal Buyer Credit

CSR Call in Approved: RBS Kroger +$1,500; Nordstrom Signature +$2,000; Orchard +$200

CSR Call in Denied: Cap One; Chase Amazon wanted a hard pull, so I declined

With BJ Visa Auto CLI of $1,000 total for the month: +$9,700

How long have you had the Kroger 123 card?   A CSR told me one has to have the card for a year before getting a CLI.  I had my card since Sept.   If AMEX can me a CLI two months of having the card, I think other should too.

I'm keeping my eye on this post 'cuz we're hoping for a CLI from these guys as well:  http://ficoforums.myfico.com/fico/board/message?board.id=creditcard&message.id=187034&query.id=12943...

(Hope that works as a link - I never seem to do that right.   Grrrrr......)

Jaysdad - did you hit your six month anniversary? and do you know if they softed you at all?

Re: Credit Gardening...I'm done till Spring

I applied online for the Kroger 1-2-3 May 15. EQ had my address messed up, and I had to call in and clarify my address, and income. They issued me a $6,000 CL. I thought that was pretty awesome and didn't think of asking for more anytime soon.

A few weeks ago someone posted a called-in CLI just after the 6th statement. My 6th statement won't cut until the 16th or so, but I called in last week and told them I was planning a significant purchase in January and did not want to carry too much of a percentage balance. They asked how much I wanted and I said, oh $8,000? She put me on hold and said we can give you $7,500 without pulling your credit. Anything over that we'd have to pull credit. I told them I'd take it!

I was very happy with that. I told them I love my card, and that I tell everyone in the line at Kroger to get that card!

P. S. No AR inquiries on any report since May that I can see. But I probably won't know if they softed me for the CLI for some time.

Awesome!

I'm glad I could help out.

Of course it was your fabulous account history that they liked.
