Credit Limit Increase question

I just found out that my Citibank awarded me a credit limit increase that I didn't ask for.  I just wanted to make sure that this would not result in an inquiry on my reports and ding my score.

Any thoughts?

And no, there should NOT be a hard inq for that. If you didn't request one, then you shouldn't see one

Yeah, actually, it was a great surprise.  Especially since I'm trying to get my util's down below 10% before apping for a mortgage in the next couple of months.  Woo-hoo!!  Thanks for the info everyone.
