Credit Line Question

Why do some CCC assign you a credit limit while others ask you what limit you want?

in my case to limit thier exposure. they wouldn't be happy if i got to choose. seriously don't know, good question though.

I guess the people that make more $ and owe less get to request a certain CL.  For the rest of us, they will tell us what we are getting.  Facts of life, who knows!
