I'm not sure if Credit One could do anything to make me ever consider them. I know I'm not their target customer, but I'll always see them as a lousy sub prime predatory lender. Even if they get rid of their ludacris fees and no-grace-period APR, their blatant attempt to scam people into applying to them by trying to look and sound as close to Capital One as they can leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. They've already dug their own grave in my opinion.
I have heard anecdotally (on one older thread on this forum I believe), where Merrick Bank, which may be typically viewed as a sub-prime lender, granting at least one cc customer super-prime terms...5.9% F or thereabouts on the person's card with them, IIRC.
