if ur not active u have to donate to the cause ($15.00+5.00= 20 bucks to open account) 5 goes in to savings account

Well yes. Sorta. Just go to their website, select join now. Then select 'none of the above' option. Then it gives you a couple of options to join an association to qualify you to join PenFed.
