I really do believe this is the best thing for you to do.
In no time you will come back to us telling us of your success stories and how Patience is a virtue.
You will also give newbies at that time info on how you became successful with your credit.

I can give newbies suggestions now lol
I started out just below 500 and am now at 600
Sure, first premier and crown jewelers suck
But they have been my saving grace....
Kay jewelers told me that I can not be approved until crown jewelers reports longer
My advise to people with poor credit trying to build history: get crown jewelers, after about 6 months get kay jewlers....

I heard Union Workers Credit is similar. Have you tried Fingerhut?
Union Workers Credit is a rip off, please do not go there.
they charge you crazy fees and are over priced.
Also i do not think they report to any credit Bureaus
Do a search on here and you will see others who have posted about them
ETA: had to add the thread

Venue is dressed-up ghetto.
Sorry, I could not help it. I know nothing about venue. I am just making that up.
As cheesy as "Fingahut" is, I have to tell y'all that I bought a TV and a Yamaha keyboard (don't ask me if I finished paying for them) in 2000 and they are still going strong. TV is on right now and the keyboard just got a workout with the kids jamming an hour ago. My husband, the musician, could not believe how many functions came with that keyboard and the price I paid (really, if I stuck F.H. with anything in my BK, and I can't remember if I did, it was a couple of dollars at most so don't cry for them.)
