Naw, I just read the credit card agreement. If it goes 6 months without any activity then they close the account. I think that includes making payments

No monthly fees.  You just have to buy something every 6 months (at least).

You have to buy something or does it just have to be activity such as a balance that you're paying on? Who buys jewelry every six months?
