I got their CC in Dec '12 and got a message that they approved me for an increase in March of '13.  They doubled my limit from 5 to 10K.

Edit: Its nota SP.  They will HP EQ for an increase.

@Kaustic

So, they sent you a message it was approved without you asking for it and it was a HP?

It was an invite to apply for a pre-approval increase "of up to 10K".  I took them up on their offer and got the double CLI and the HP to go with it.

Re: DCU Platinum Visa Rates vs. Scores

Does anyone know if the rate is adjustable (downward) after approval? I am wanting to take the pre-approval for the credit card offers in addition to my vehicle loan. 12k sounds good at 9.5 but would like the lowest

I spoke to a DCU rep this morning who clarified my question.

DCU REP.: If your credit score increases after the Visa is opened you can request that your credit report is pulled to determine if we are able to lower your rate. There is a $50 fee charged for this.
