Re: DH's credit one card

Credit one was the worst card I am cancelling it as soon as possible. The problem with them is that you need to actually call and make sure the account is closed because the account is actually already activated and they just want to be sure that you received the card...

Re: DH's credit one card

Initially they apply the entire 75 dollar fee for the first year. The second year is when the monthly 8 dollars starts

Yea, their APR is astronomical

The APR is 23.9% which is not much more than Capital One. He already applied and has the card so I say keep it.  With a $300 limit the interest won't be more than $5-$6 a month if he uses the card, just cancel it at 1 year.

If he has collections due to fall off next year that means they are old and aggressive disputes may get them deleted.

No grace period.

Nuff said.

Re: DH's credit one card

We looked it over and then called to cancel.
Fee after fee and no way to avoid interest.

Re: DH's credit one card

Good to learn you canceled it! They are one of the worst. In your DH's case, Care One will do more harm than good.
