Now she shows up...LOL.  Yes, there's your HP.  Or, as Lexie mentioned previously...the .01% based on the forum threads.  I'm leaning toward .02%   Now, all things considered, Ron is not one who I would assume has negative information on his CRs which would cause the HP, let alone declined CLI.

Denial Reason: Unknown. Haven't gotten the letter yet. Probably poor excuse.

Score: 782

No baddies. Perfect credit history and payment history.  No late,no past due. On time payment on all accounts. I also have Macys Amex.

I have had the account since 2005.

credit utilization: around 1%.

No baddies. Perfect credit history and payment history.  No late,no past due. On time payment on all accounts. I also have Macys Amex.

ugh... of course it would be on the craziest seeming of them all accounts... you took the HP now I would call and see if one of the underwriters (i won't hold my breath they are good) but talk to one and have a manual review done and see what the bleep... seems like you should have a $20k line!

I know right.  It is surprising to me since Ron has about similar scores, well...ummm... but I only have about half the TLs he does...LOL.  Most of my Macy's Preferred CLIs are usually auto with the last one received bumped it up to $15K (Nov 2) and it's sister, the AMEX is now $18K (Oct 5).  My Bloomingdale's Reserve ones also got CLIs in October so I'm kind of suprised on the decline and the HP as well.

my partner was declined CLI on his Macy's Amex a few weeks back and it was not a hp.

In the beginning it was always SPs for me..then all of a sudden last year I requested a CLI twice and it was a hard pull.  I was shocked!  What made it worse was that it was also denied!!      I just took a chance a few weeks ago via chat and requested a CLI.  It was approved and it was a SP!  So they seem to be all over the place with it....smh!
