Data point: US Bank CLI No HP

Glad to say that I got a $1k cli from us bank without a pull. Yay!

This is contrary to what I've heard other people say about all CLI being HP. Looks like under $1500 might still be true?

Re: Data point: US Bank CLI No HP

It's very YMMV. Some people request under 1500 and still get a hard pull. Others get none. Don't know what it's based on, but glad it worked for you.

With US Bank it's best to anticipate a HP for every CLI and count yourself lucky if it doesn't happen.

That's what YMMV means.  One person incurring an HP doesn't mean that no one will.  You can't determine trends based on a single data point.

You short changed yourself by $500.

I followed those guidelines and inserted only the $1.5K and they approved the CLI at that exact amount (SP Only)

Ahh, I got the feeling that it wasn't a YMMY and it was a strict HP from the posts I've read.

Thanks for the info.
