So Barclay is PCing the Commence? Must have missed that part. I called and tried before the switch but they wouldn't PC Sallie to the other Barclay offer I had.

If you can get past the CSR to an analyst, you might be able to PC. However, it seems like the frontline CSRs don't see the PC options.
Apologies if I sound like an idiot!
Were you referring to the Barclayscard priceline rewards card?
I can't seem to find a link to any other on their website..
Even if if they do PC, I'm not sure that would include any bonus offers attached to the new card. Bonuses are for new apps, and a PC is just converting an existing card. As far as I know..

Several members (myself included) have received a spend bonus for PCing our old Sallie Mae's to another product. Mine was 10,000 points for $1K of spend in 90 days, and most others with spend offers have had similar offers.

Good to know! Now I'm mad that they didn't let me PC to the Cash Forward card with $200 bonus after $500 spend!
I am curious. For those that picked up the Bank of the West CashBack card, does it earn the 3% at WalMart? When I read this language on the website, it makes be wonder:
www.bankofthewest.com/personal-banking/credit-cards/cash-back-credit-card.htmlCredit Cards | Cash Back | Bank of the West
2Cash Back rewards are based on Net Purchases (qualifying purchases less credit, returns, and adjustments). 1% base Cash Back for every $1 of net purchases. Eligible merchants for the 3% bonus categories (2% Bonus Cash Back on top of the 1% Base Cash Back) include: (a) groceries (representing grocery stores/supermarkets, freezer/meat provisioner, miscellaneous food stores, bakeries, and candy/nut/confection stores); (b) Dining (representing eating place restaurants, bars, lounges and fast food restaurants); (c) Gas (representing service stations and automated fuel dispensers). After $1,500 is spent on gas purchases each calendar quarter, you go back to earning 1% Base Cash Back.

I don't know about Walmart, but I used it at Target recently and it coded as groceries. The problem is, there is no reward tracking on their website and they don't even have online statements, so you have to wait until a paper statement comes and even that doesn't make it clear exactly the amount of cashback earned per purchase. I will say in their favor that once a transaction posts, it does show what category it was coded as so you can pretty much do the math yourself.
Thanks for the info, Cell.
how did you manage the PC? All i keep getting Indian CSR who tell me its impossible to change to another card
