Well I went into the Spring approx. $20,000 in debt and made a vow to be debt free by Fall, simply by paying weekly, highest rate first, beating up the banks for better apr's, and actually got a cli along the way. Between Friday and Saturday biz was awesome, and cash was King, with the last $2400 owed to GE money bank going out today. This should boost scores slightly, available credit is $37,500, scores to follow! That's awesome! Congrats!!!
That must be a fantastic feeling! I hope to join you in a few years.

I'd go on a shopping spree to celebrate if I were you :/
I plan to do some shopping during the upcoming tax free holiday in August, with cash.
Congrats. My wife and I actually just made a debt free in 1 year plan. It is alot but I think it is doable. We are counting car loans, student loans, credit cards, etc. We dont have a mortgage currently so we hope by this time next year to owe no one. It has to be a good feeling. Then we will try to buy a house.
Congrats, clipperskipper!!!! Great Job!!!!!!
Congratulations!! I know that feeling and it's a good one.
Just be sure not to make the same mistake twice.

Congratulations, indeed! GEMB is evil. I won't be truly debt-free for years (student loans), but I will be divested of all those evil little store cards shortly. I'm so excited!!!
Now start socking away that cash that was disappearing each month!!!
