We're waiting for a few more statements to cut, then for the 1st of the year....DW has no inquiries in 2014, but a SLEW of them at the end of 2013, so we're hoping for a nice score boost for her on 1/1/15.
We've both got Tuesday, 06 January off from work so that we can sit and visit with the credit union and start the refinance on our home.
Yay!
I was under the impression inquiries don't score after the first year!
INQ don't "count" after first year on some scoring formulas, but if they want to an manual pull of your credit they will still see all your HP in the last two years. I am pretty sure that is how it works out.

Ok so I am ready to commit myself to being in the garden until March 2016. I'm happy with what cards I have and decent limits for me. I am going to work the Arrival + for everything until I'm 5 years post Ch. 7 and then I am hoping Amex will finally show me some love with an approval for a card with them. This is going to be a rough road to travel but hey I can always play with the SP CLI's and this forum to get through it all.
I thikn cap one and walmart are sp cli on the cards you have so you can give them an go !!! :-)
How soon does your score tend to bounce back? I'm on month 2 with my new cards and my FICO EX score dropped another 6 points from last month to this month. I know your scores will bounce back but I was just curious when to expect a little bit of a climb. My reported balances were higher than I wanted this month because I was still figuring out the statement date vs my paycheck date. So lowering utilization will probably help next month. And all those on time payments will no doubt help. Just curious. I still plan to be gardening 6 months to a year. I was looking to see if my scores might be good enough when I hit 6 months (April) to possibly get a new CC to finance some new living room furniture (my couch/loveseat combo are getting up in age and losing comfortability).
So I took an unfruitful step out of the garden.
I think I hit rock bottom.lol
I am truly happy to run back into the garden.
This is the first month most of my new cards are reporting.
I saw a 12 point gain to my Equifax fico.
Which in my lunacy I brought back down by 6 points.
Well you live and learn!!!
I'm still also waiting for my baddies to be updated to paid.

Sorry that I haven't been around much, we've had a pretty exciting few days around here. Everyone is healthy, tho and that's what counts.
No apps for me. 06 January is two and a half weeks away....ohboy,ohboy,ohboy.....
Good luck with the big stuff TC and happy to know that all's well at home
Good afternoon GC !
1 day to reach the 2-month mark at the garden.
Tried a little SP bump with Discover and my CL went from 7k to 8.5k; and my total CL is finally above $50k ($51.2k to be exact).
I'm waiting to hear from Cap One EO about a CLI request that I made with them last Tuesday. No response so far; so I'm not plenty hopeful.
Looking forward to some travel starting later this week
Update: the nice lady from EO office called up and told me that they've been able to bump my Cap One QS CL from $4k to $6k. I had requested for $10k and was hoping (initially) them to match the $8.5k that I have from Cash+. Anyway not hearing from them for almost a week and I thought there'll be no increase, so I'll take this $6k still. This makes my total CL $53.2k.
I think this is going to be my last EO call. Cap One clearly likes to see usage and my non-category spending doesn't exceed $1k a month, so it's not likely that in near future I'd be able to push more through this card.
NB: I had added (after asking the EO lady) my spouse's income (partly) so my app income became 3X. I don't know the amount of impact that might have had in either CLIs.
Morning all, checking in for the day.
Noticed this in a new email I just got about the SallieMae card. Do you really get points for paying bills? I had no idea.
