Thank you, everyone for all your suggestions. I did try that EX app and it apparently says my score is 598, which is a big difference from the other two. And that score probably went down due to my wife playing off a $1300 student loan on that card even though I'm just an authorized user on the Freedom card. I'll head to Chase on Tuesday and see about getting the Freedom Unlimited or Slate card to start off with. And then maybe by the end of spring I'll consider getting the Citi DB, Diamond Preferred or the Chase Sapphire Preferred once I see my scores continue to go up.
I'll give everyone an update on here tomorrow or Wednesday on what happens when I go to my Chase bank. I might have a better shot at the Slate card but will also ask about the FU. Hopefully, they only use TU once they do the pull.
