Declined: Can't Verify Identity

GEMB is full of crap.

I applied for walmart card and got it.

I applied for the amazon.com store card and was denied cos they can't verify my identity. I called them and was told they couldn't verify my phone number.wth? how comes u just verified it with walmart??

Then they told me just apply again. I told them I don't want 2 hard pulls.

They were like TOUGH LUCK!

I thought you where going to stop applying for stuff or was this one of the cards you applied for in your application spree.

This was one of the cards from my spree!! I really am done!! :-)

They sent me an email to see why i was declined today....makes me so mad....how does that even make sense?

I seem to remember a few posts about this a while back. Something about land lines and not being listed in the directory? Anyone else know what I'm talking about? I think you had to have a landline and cell #'s didn't work for verification of identity.
