I needed the miles for an upcoming trip so I took a targeted offer from Delta and jumped out of the garden temporarily. Both me and my wife apped and were approved instantly so that's pretty sweet!
I only have the Amex Plat that I got in July so fairly new to Amex and the charge cards aren't hard to get it seems. Not sure how hard the Delta is to get, but it should be good for the miles at this stage. It doesn't seem to be better than my Plat unless I only fly Delta for the mile boost.
It was the Delta gold with no AF for the first year.

Congrats!!!! i got my card saturday and paid some bill with it. My statement cuts on Sunday and the rep told me the points would apply 48 hours afterwards.
I think they are starting to hand these out like candy because my EQ score was 658 when i app'd and then went up 2 days later to 570. i think it was a Cap1charge off and another charge off that was deleted that boosted me up 2 days later so maybe they saw a 670...dunno
Im really happy I got this card. 5000 CL and now I can look cool when i pull out my AMEX.
I want to try again for the Zync next month. I think if i can get approved for it they will give me a decent limit until i can graduate to a very good revolver.
