Well,I wanted to get the fiance down to Florida on Christmas Day and flights are out of my price range.  Found a one-way rental car for $200 for less than 24 hrs! This meant driving overnight, so i could get the fiance back on a 4pm flight out of tampa back home (cheaper to fly out of tampa, than to Tampa) christmas day...

Well, she found $117/pp total flight through delta to tampa by 10:10am! When i logged in, i recieved an offer for immediate credit of $50 + 30k miles after $500 spending in 3 months.

Had to grab it! Instantly approved for $2800 and tickets out the door came to $183.

Saves me about $100 in gas and rental and nevermind a 10-12 hr drive!

Soooooo, when do i request CLI?

scores are in sig, and i was getting checked bags and priority boarding using AU plat skymiles amex, so no change there. at least ill get my ex score!
