They sent me my TU score They did a triple pull on me for Zync card and then used them for this one. Zync was instant and Delta was about 20 minutes for approval.
Congrats
Congrats glad santa came early for you!
I had put this somewhere else but I'll say it again. In a conversation with the CSR I was told it is 61 days after approval, not activation. It might mean you want to do it over the phone and not online, or just call to be sure.
Congrats on the card, I like mine. I hit the 61 day after approval next week.
If that's the case I can do mine on 9/14. I'll have to see Amex does another SP on me. My last one was before my UTIL bump was fixed.

Can I still wait beyond 61 days to try and get that 3x - or do you only get that one shot on the 61st day?

lol it's not all bad it could be EQ, but since you probably got the FICO 04 TU score it's not bad at all, since MyFico sells TU98 and Walmart gives you Fico08. Fico04 is the one mortgage lenders pull so that's the best scores to have =)
I hear people talking about the 61 day rule for 3x CLI. That was not the case for me. I was approved in August with a credit line of $5500. I requested the increase and got a letter in the mail saying I was too new to American Express, that I have too much utilization (21% overall) and that I need to wait six months to request again. I made a large purchase last month and already paid it off (on their card). I was confused by this. My minimum payment is $49, and I paid $1100 last month.
Also, my scores are all in the 700's and I was only expecting a pull by Experian when I applied. Needless to say, they pulled all three. As for the CLI request, no hard pull...they mentioned in their letter a review of a report dated more than a month previous.
$5500 is fine for an initial limit, so I'm not really that upset. I wondered how they could triple that with only 60 days of history.
