Denied AMEX 61 Day CLI

[AXMCVI]

  I was denied CLI after 61 Days because AMEX card  balance was to high. If I pay off balance off when can i reapply for CLI ?

There are many, it's just few are posted.   It's created the myth of a near shoe-in 61 day 3x with AMEX.   I asked and was denied for it myself.

I think you might have to wait 6 months after being turned down for a CLI with AMEX, not 100% sure of it though.  Somewhat remember the CSR telling me that on the phone. at the time.

If you're approved for the CLI, it's 6 months before you can ask for another.  If denied, you can request again after 90 days.  Ask me how I know (and still not successful - shot down X 2)...

It's 90 days after you are turned down, 6 months after you are approved until you can ask for another.

there are quite a bit of people who get turned down, just keep using the card and paying it in full or making large payments in relation to your balance and you will be fine in 90 days

Yeah, you should at least pay it down to 3% and apply again.

Don't feel bad. I was shot down too. I had a zero balance reporting and a 702 EX.
