I have had them since jan 09 and started out with a 500 limit, then went to 1000 then 1500. Then just last month they bumped it up to 2000. never had any luck calling as they say they have no control so was surprised when i recieved it.
I got this $300 'platinum' card back in October. They sent me a letter shortly after if I made my payments on time for 6 months I would receive a cli.....after reading this I guess I should not hold my breath? I was really hoping for an increase!!
I have a similar story to kmf5182002. Received the Platinum card in May, 2010 with $500 starting limit. in August, they auto bumped it to $750, then in December they surprised me with an auto bump to $2,250. This is a credit-builder card for me and it has definitely helped to bring my score up. I made sure it was paid down to keep utilization percentage down around reporting time, but gave it a pretty good workout before and after reporting dates. I also have an Orchard Bank card that started at $300 in February 2010, went to $500 about 3 months later, then went to $700, but it hasn't moved from $700 since November. It seems like 2010 was a good year for auto CLI's for me.

That sounds like their Credit Steps program. You should see the increase if you, indeed, make all of your payments on time.
