As some of you might know US Bank cash+ is killing restaurants as a 5% cashback category starting this january.
I was in the process of looking for a different dining card and settled on the No Annual Fee Sapphire. This is a good card if you, like me, already have a chase ink plus and can transfer the UR points from the sapphire that way, giving you a rate of ~4% return on dining.
However, although I looked at it literally two days ago, it now seems to be gone from the internet. The former sapphire vs sapphire preferred page on the chase website now forwards to a promo for the chase sapphire preferred. The regular sapphire seems to be gone from most travel blogs that maintain list of good travel cards too.
Did I just miss the opportunity to get this card by two days?
Yes, there were already rumours that the Saphire will be discontinued.
Well darn it. I wonder if I can still get it in a branch. I am guessing most likely not.

Most likely not. You can check with your local branch to confirm but it's likely bye-byes.
From what I've been hearing, the following changes happened this weekend:
CS regular is gone (OP's card in question)
CSP's AF is now $150
minimum spend for CSP's 40k bonus points is now 4k (orig 3k)
Freedom's bonus is $200 instead of $100
and i think a business card was discontinued.

That is crazy! I just got the Sapphire last month. I saw it on the chase page today. I am in chicago, maybe they are phasing it
Out by locations?
Link? I am in chicago too actually and can't find it.

According to the website, csp AF is still $95
I think the card you are thinking of is the Ink Bold, which was indeed discountinued.

Previously saved Sapphire URLs will redirect to CSP.
