Didn't resist the urge- Chase/Amex/NFCU/Home Depot

[ Edited ]

This morning I just couldnt wait a second longer... Had an app spree, here's the results

Home Depot- Approved 750cc limit... called for Recon to increase.. Denied

Chase Freedom- 7-10 day  message... Called Immediately for Recon. Was asked about 2 charge-offs (Kohls, Credit One) from 2008. Explained to rep that those accounts were opened when I was 18 and had no idea about responsibly managing credit, and that Ive never been late on anything in over 3 years. Was put on hold and she came back and said I had been approved for $2000. Ill take it.

Amex Blue Cash Everyday- DENIED. Their closed on Sundays, so I will call first thing tomorrow morning for a recon and will update when I find out.

NFCU nRewards CL Increase... Current Limit is $8500... rep advised me to go high for the amount I wanted, so I said $15,000 total, Immediately approved for $12,500. Ill take that too!

CashRewards with NFCU (new card), but got the 3-5 day message :/

The no lates for that period probably helped. Lates are the bane of my CR's.

Re: Didn't resist the urge- Chase/Amex/NFCU/Home Depot

!!!!UPDATE!!!!

I was so annoyed at Home Depot for giving me a toy limit I applied for a Lowes Card. Approved at $650, called the backdoor number and asked for it to be increased to $10,000. She re-verified my income ($45000) and a few minutes later called back and said Approved for the full amount!! I then called        Home Depot to give them one more chance to increase it, after having me on hold for 20 minutes they said they could not render a decision at that time and I would get something in the mail in 7 days. I said "Close the card." and they did. Lowes will be getting all my business!

Now if I can just get AMEX to reconsider my app, I will be golden, since im pretty sure NFCU wont deny me their cashRewards :smileyvery-happy:
