Differences btw Amex Green and Gold?

I just applied for the Amex Green and was thinking about going for the gold as well. What are the differences between the two? Is one harder to obtain than the other?

Amex Green you get 1 point per dollar, 2 on Amex Travel site. Amex Gold you get 1 point per dollar, 2 points on travel and dining. Amex underwriting criteria for all charge cards is the same. Why would you want to get two charge cards? Unless you are running a lot of money every year on each one your rewards will be wiped out by the annual fee.

Depends which gold card you're referring to. The regular gold card is pretty lackluster and not much better than the Green. The PRG is much better.
