@JonStur, welcome to the club.
I'm one of those people who always seems to get those bonus 2% cashback offers from Discover, but I was surprised to get this one right on top of the cashback offer that ends today. Two in a row has never happened before. Between those and the 5% cashback on home improvment in the current quarter (which I really need) I'm in cc heaven.
I just got mine today too!
Finally had luck on my discover too!
Booooooooo. Nothing for me
Got this too.
In my experience, Discover (and Barclay) tend to reward those who use the card sparingly. Seems that after every couple of months with no activity, Disc and Barclay will email a promo of some kind.
PS - also received an email for $30 statement credit for spending $30 at Neiman Marcus.

That explains it lol. I just put a flight and theme park season pass on it, so I have been using it... :/

I charged over 6k in the past 2 weeks on my discover and they gave me this promo. Granted if you really think about it... It's just extra an $5.
Wow!
That's more than I charged in 3 + years on Discover!
