I signed up. Discover is awesome, too bad it wasn't for 12/12/12 though. That would've given more time for online purchase to arrive, I guess this is geared more towards almost last minute shoppers as well as travelers.

Just curious - if I order some stuff online on 12/22 will I get _two_ cashbacks? (5% for online shopping in Q42012 and 2% for shopping on 12/22)?

In my wallet now: Amex PRG NPSL, Amex BCE $6k, CSP $6k, Chase United ME $5k, Citi Dividend $4.5k, Discover It $4k and a handful of other cards...
TU March 2013 - 733; April 2013 - 728June 2013 - 713(keep falling down after tons of recent inquiries and carrying some (well... huge) balance)

Based on similar previous offers, yes, you will get both cashbacks

Thanks a lot for info, essentially 7% discount on everything online sounds promising (if only I haven't almost maxed out online shopping category this quarter on the card...)
