My statement date is on the 12th, so I can't use the 2% day. Discover seems to do that a lot. I have no doubt it's some kind of ploy to get people to report a balance so they can charge daily residuals on the next cycle. Sneaky.

please explain this daily residuals thing? as long as you pay your balance in full by your payment due date there are no interest fees.

If you carry a balance from the previous month, they charge daily residuals instead of giving you a grace period for the next month. It's in the fine print.
