Paid my first Discover statement by phone a few days ago and asked the CSR about CLI eligibility. She told me after first 90 days (Dec. 2nd). So is this something that comes automatic or do you have to hit the CLI button on the acct. page? Also is it a HP or SP? I've read on here the base CLI's on high usage so I've been using it for small purchases w/o going over the 20% util cap/restriction I've put on it on my own for now. My current limit is $1400.

The auto CLI by definition is automatic. If you haven't received a CLI after the 90 days you may request it online or by calling. They will inform you if they need to pull your cr. Keep in mind the 90 days is simply an eligibility to receive no guarantee of receiving a CLI.
More then likely have to call it's more like 6 months. YMMV, Congrats and welcome to the Discover family.

Thanks 09Lexie good to know. I have only asked for 1CLI and that's when I switched from the more to the IT. I guess I should as I use it a lot. I just don't want to take the chance of a hard pull. After being on this site and watching people go crazy on apps and getting baby limits or declined I went the other way. Slow and steady wins the race for me. I have remorse when I apply for a card I will use.
That's why I said more then likely 6 months, to avoid the bummer feeling of rejection.
I applied for an increase about a month ago after having the card since May and it was a HP, but went from $1,500 to $5,000, so it was worth it! I used it more than any other card and didnt carry any balances. They said keep up the good work haha 
Ask for a lot so they counter offer you!
