I called Discover to see if they would lower my APR from 22.99%. (I've been a customer too for a year). They said they couldn't, but they would give me 0% APR for a year. Which is awesome! I wasn't offered that when I opened my account last year because of my credit file.
I just wanted to share.
CONGRATS, that definitely makes me want to give them a call!!!

The worst they can or any card company can tell you is "No." At least other than that there is no real reprucations for asking.
Congrats! Does anyone know if they'll give you 0% APR for a year even though I had it when I first opened my card? LOL. I'll try to give them a call soon.
Congrats!
Discover has, imo, some of the best CS in the entire industry, if not the best.
Congrats
if they do, let us know so i can call them!

Every 6-12 months you should call back ... I've gotten them down from 14.99 to 10.49 over 3 years.

Yes. They will.
We've had 3 0% promo's on the wife's Discover card. The initial one was 12 months 0%, the second one was 6 months 0% for a CS oversight, the third was last year when we PC'd to a Discover It. 12 more months at 0%.

Yes, they may, when you call to ask if a lower APR is account eligible, they'll let you know what offer, if any, is available for e.g. 3.99 for 6 months, 0 for 12 months, etc
