Discover APR reduction? UPDATE REDUCED

The post that CreditCuriosity did about getting an APR reduction on an Amex got me curious. How easy is it to reduce the APR with Discover? I have had my Discover card for over a year and my intro 0% ended this month. Anybody have success reducing APR with Discover and how did you go about it?Smiley Tongue

 

Just called and they reduced it from 19.99 to 17.24Smiley Happy

I have done it twice with Discover. Just call the number on the back of the card and ask. I am 2-2.

I used chat 2 times, no problem, 3% drop each time. 22.99$ -> 19.24% -> 16.24%

 

I tried the second time before 6 months and they sent me a letter that I have to wait 6 months. Now I put a note so I know when to ask again.
