Discover AU Timeline thread

Hey guys I just got added to my parents Discover as an authorized user via the website yesterday.

9/13 Added

I will let you guys know what happens. My previous address is the same as the card holders address. 

It has a 15k limit and utilization is kept <15 and is 24 year old account with no lates.

On a side note,

I helped them sign up for online banking. They said they have never requested a CLI. My parents are afraid of asking for one. They are very conservative with credit.

Does the CLI button come up on the webpage? I did not see one on there. Has anyone got an instant increase via that love button ?

I believe currently Discover is not giving out CL above 15k unless you got it back a few years ago before credit crash

No Discover use to offer lines up to 50k

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread as I am going through the same thing.  I was added about 3 weeks ago as an AU and nothing has shown up on my credit report as of today.  I did however, change the billing address on the account to match mine.  I will keep you posted to see if this works.  Do you have the same address as the primary holder?

Did it on website. No SS number needed. I gave first, middle initial, last
