I got auto luv once. $300 increase after having it for about a year. I have a luv button but always get the message to call. I've called twice, three months apart. First time, not even prompted for HP, just told I wasn't eligible for CLI. This month, she tried but needed to do an HP. I declined (gardening) but feel like I'm getting closer since this time they requested an HP. I can't figure out what to do because I heard they like balances and I've always had one with them. Trying to keep a positive attitude amongst the auto CLI posts. Very happy for those that get them and it does give me hope that it could happen to me one day.

Its the inconsistency that i find annoying. Am not annoyed at other people getting CLI ,but annoyed that its so hard for me
Well, no auto-CLI for me now that my third statement has cut
And when I click the button to request a CLI, I don't get anything about a SP or HP. It just tells me that my request can't be processed and to call, which I guess is Discover's way of covertly giving me the finger. Not that I'm upset about it, as I don't *need* the CLI.
same thing with me, today would be my 3rd month exactly maybe its after 3 months? tomorrow? lol
Problem with discover there is no set policy about their CLI
My 3rd statement cut 10 days ago... still no auto increase and no luv button option...

That's not totally correct. Accounts are eligible for a CLI every 90 days. Whether it be a sp or you have to obtain one through a hp, you are still eligible.

You might have to call in through automated system

Well maybe to clearer their sp cli policy is set in stone like amex or something like that, i guess would be better way to say it.
Here is my story with Discover so far. Note that it took me 6 months to get my first auto increase, not 3 months.
My account was opened in May of 2013 with a starting CL of $2000. In November of 2013, I received an auto CLI that brought my CL up to $2200. In February of this year, I received another auto CLI that brought my CL up to $2600. Last month, I received another auto CLI that brought my CL up to $3000, where it currently stands.
This card gets light to moderate use. I carried a balance once or twice during my 0% APR period. Now, I always pay in full, but I usually let a balance report on each statement. To give you an idea of how little I use this card, last month I finally passed the $50 cash back threshold (after having the card for a year) and was able to redeem it for statement credit.
Reading some of the posts here, I guess I've been pretty lucky with the auto increases.
