Discover Auto CLI...Pattern?

Opened Discover It in April 2013. Auto CLI in October and just got another today. so thats the 6 and 9 months auto. Minimal usage on the card. Carried a balance for 2 months twice during that time.  1000>1200>1600.  Zero balance at time of both cli's

I bookmarked this thread to remember to post after my 1 yr mark with Discover.  Today I received the 1 yr auto cli with very mimimal usage (3 charges approx 200 bux total spend) since the last auto  in January.  It was only another 400 yet it rounded me off at 2K.

My Discover CLI history:

11/2012 - $1000, opened card

5/2013 - $1300, auto CLI

11/2013 - $1700, auto CLI

6/2014 - $2500, HP CLI (I initiated)

So, I guess I had a 6-month pattern? I initiated a CLI in 6/2014 as I didn't see the auto CLI I expected to see in 5/2014.

Discover has been giving me small auto CLIs every three months like clockwork since December. I only use the card for 5% categories, and even then it doesn't get used a whole lot.

Wish that pattern worked for everybody . haven't seen an cli once since I opened my card in September. Probably going to give till end of the year and decide what I want to with card,

This thread has me intrigued. I'm coming up on my 3 months with Discover. I wonder if I'll get an auto-CLI? I have a baddie so I guess that would make sub-prime?
