Discover CLI - DENIED for $500

I just got off the phone with Discover and I asked for a CLI of $500, and I got denied instantly.

What should I do once I get the letter in the mail?

Thanks.

Have you tried to recon the denial?

Perhaps you should wait for the letter. If they've denied you based on incorrect info, ask for recon for sure. It all depends on your total credit profile but Discover is known to be stingy lately. It seems as though they switched places with Capital One. :smileylol:

I would join in the laugher with you...but you are right. Discover and Capital One were both my lowest limit cards. However, Capital One's new credit limit increase feature has since made Discover my lowest limit. :smileytongue:

I've heard thay many of the issuers have people reading these forums, so I poke fun as necessary hoping they'll get the message. LOL! I never thought I'd see the day when Cap one gets kudos over Discover. Sorry OP, don't mean to hijack.

Sorry to hear that, but you could just try again in 90 days. Maybe your account wasnt eligible so they denied you.

Whenever my account is eligible for a CLI the luv button will show up on the home/main page online. When its not then it goes incognito
