Discover CLI-Needs Credit Analyst Review???***UPDATE***

So, my Discover card is over 6 months and no auto CLI.  Called in and asked for a CLI, they said a hard pull would be needed...so I agreed, and then it came back that a credit analyst would need to do a manual review...I would be notified in 24 to 48 hrs.  Huh???  This card is used but paid in full monthly.  Has anyone else ever received this message for a CLI and got an increase?

I will be so bummed if I took a hard pull and no increase!!  Ugh...

What is your current utilization? Even though you PIF, a 50% utilization might make them nervous that you are constantly pushing the limits.

Just curious, what's the current credit limit on your Discover card? Good luck, hope you get the CLI!!

It's $1000.00.  Since they gave me the card, I have also paid off about $10,000 in credit card debt.  So, things should look better than they did 6 mos. ago.  Maybe the delay has to do with Memorial day?

maybe cause of memorial day. what was  your score when you first applied and what is it now?

They pulled TU today and last Oct.  My score was 650 (myfico TU) and now it is 675 (myfico TU) and my Walmart TU is 690.

i dont see why they wouldnt bump it to at least 2,000. hope all goes well

Got the CLI today...from 1000 to 3000.  I think it was worth the hard pull.  Should help with my utilization.  Thanks for the help.
