I just wanted to give an overview of my Discover CLI process for anyone in the future. I requested and increase this afternoon through the online chat feature. They said I was not eligible for an increase via SP so I requested an increase from $7,800 to $25,000 (I've always figured go big if a HP is required). The asked me standard ID, address, and income questions. Then the rep told me I would need to call in and speak with a credit analyst to complete the process. I called in and answered many of the same questions and a few more about my income (I am self-employed). They approved my credit limit increase up to $12,800 which I am happy with (I certainly didn't expect them to honor my $25K request). Overall, the process was quite painless so don't be worried if Discover asks you to call in to complete a CLI request.
Thanks for this. My discover has been stuck at 1700 for almost year and a half. Im gonna try this when i get home.
Thanks for sharing and congrats on the CLI
Congrats! Discover is the card I use the most and my lowest limit. The hard pull was definitely worth it for you. I hope to get an auto CLI one day. They have great customer service and shop Discover is great.
