Discover CLI just appeared

I have the button on mine to....when I clicked on it, it said to call 1800 Discover so I don't know if it pulled anything or not....it asked me no questions

The link is disabled until your account ages a few months and you make those 3 payments. I get the same message if I click it. There's no credit pull. If you really want an increase, just call and ask if it'll be a HP or a SP, if the rep knows the difference. Lol.

That makes sense....I was wondering why it went straight to that without asking me anything. I really want an increase but I am scared to call and ask.....I guess I will just wait it out.

I was at first scared to call too. This was the first time I call CSR to ask for CLI.

What I found, even when I was first approved for the Discover Card is that the agents want to talk about you. 

They want to get a warm and fuzzy feeling that you are real, honest and sincere.

I had a nice talk with this guy from everything about the weather to why I wanted the CLI.

He had a soft pull on my report and even asked why I had some increase in my account balance with CITI Bank, I simply said just got back from a 10 day vacation.

of the 8 CC accounts I have only one is reporting a balance of about 6k.  He even asked me about my job, and the fact I own my company and I am self employed and how that was going...

All in all he opened my eyes about being honest and sincere with Discover.

He wanted to know why I was using CIT instead of Discovery, I simply said I have more purchasing power because of the higher limit.  And that CIT offered me 18 months 0% on BT and purchases.

He even said that we(Discover) can offer you a promotional 0% on purchases too. 

I even learned that Discover got rid of Foreign Transaction Fees too.

Nice experience, i would have to say.

I called them and asked cl increase . They told me I have to wait after 6 months then call in and request for it lol
